An educated and experienced yoga teacher is one who can hold safe space for students while they explore their potential on the levels of embodiment, psychology and spirituality. The Colorado School of Yoga stands for excellence in yoga education and our reputation is one that will imbue your students with a sense of confidence in your presence and skills.

Program Structure

This training spans from January – July 2025, gathering together on the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month. The length of this program allows for enough time to assimilate, process, evaluate, and demonstrate new knowledge.

From the start of this program, you can expect to learn through lecture, physical asana practice, group and individual exercises, practicum and engagement on every level.
You will be given homework assignments consisting of engaging online anatomy content, live anatomy Q&A, focused review, practice teaching and personal practice suggestions.

As part of the Advanced Yoga Teacher Training, you will have the unique opportunity to deepen your anatomical knowledge with an exclusive session in a cadaver lab. This hands-on experience will bring the study of anatomy to life, offering an unparalleled insight into the human body that will profoundly enhance their teaching practice.

As you delve deeper into the training, learning experiences will include evolved sequencing work, practice teaching, refinement, abundant feedback, self-inquiry work and the business aspects of teaching yoga as a profession. We’ll bring powerful closure to an evolutionary journey we take together and emerge as united family!

Note: This training will be offered in a hybrid format, with both in-person and online participation. Some of the content, particularly sessions led by our guest teachers, will be delivered in real-time online, making it accessible for guest teachers who need to attend virtually.

There is additionally an option to attend virtually, if you are not local to the region. This flexible approach ensures that everyone can benefit from the training, regardless of location, while still engaging with the full range of material and expertise offered. Of course, we encourage physical attendance during our in-person sessions, as many learn best face-to-face. We will provide details on the schedule for the online sessions, particularly those led by our guest teachers, at a later date.
