Upcoming Special Offerings

Sowing Seeds of Softness-2.jpg

Gather with Lisa King and Kelsey Maxine on Sunday, April 13th for a 90-minute practice that blends gentle somatic embodiment with restorative yoga and nurturing hands-on assists. As we transition through the rebirth of spring, this practice invites you to pause and “plant” intentions within. Create space for newness by sowing seeds of softness in this multisensory workshop.

Explore the power of body-mind curiosity as we focus on intentional micro-movements during a gentle, grounding yoga flow led by Kelsey. Shift to a sequence of restorative poses guided by Lisa while Kelsey, licensed massage therapist, offers dedicated hands-on adjustments.  Concluding with an extended Yoga Nidra, you’ll journey through layers of your-self to strengthen the relationship with your-soul.

Come as you are, open to serenity on this evening of reflection and restoration. Wear comfortable clothes, maybe some cozy socks, and feel free to bring an eye cover or any other items that will help you fully experience this workshop.

Research shows that yogic breathing can improve both mental and physical health.

Rainy Day South Bath.jpg

Experience the soothing embrace of rain and the gentle sound of
vibrational frequencies to help unlock a renewed sense of tranquility and fresh beginnings as we warmly welcome Spring.

Allow this “rainy day experience” to provide an opportunity
to let go of what no longer serves you, and to welcome
new chances for growth and transformation.

Mantras for the weeks leading up to our April Sound Bath:
I'm ready for a nourishing, fresh beginning…
I let go of what no longer serves me…
Like Mother Earth, I welcome new growth and transformation…

What is a sound bath? Does it really help?

Jonathan Goldman and Dr. Jeffrey Thompson are both pioneers in the field of sound healing, and they emphasize the profound benefits and validity of sound baths and therapeutic sound practices. Both experts highlight that sound baths can induce deep states of relaxation, dramatically reducing stress and promoting overall well-being. They assert that sound has the ability to affect our consciousness profoundly, shifting participants into altered states similar to deep meditation, which can facilitate personal insight and emotional release. Goldman and Thompson agree on the power of sound in balancing energy centers, or chakras, contributing to physical, emotional, and spiritual harmony.

During a sound bath, participants are immersed in an environment rich in harmonious tones and frequencies generated by instruments such as gongs, crystal bowls, gentle chimes, and Tibetan singing bowls. These harmonious soundscapes can cleanse negative energies, promote mental clarity, provide rejuvenation, and create a transformative, healing experience on many levels- physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Which Instruments will I experience during this month’s sound bath?

Enjoy the pure and transformative sounds this April, featuring pure quartz crystal singing bowls and traditional Himalayan metal bowls. Let the delicate notes of Koshi Chimes and the soothing resonance of my unique rain stick columns, known as the "Gentle Garden of Dreams," further deepen your relaxation and connection.

What are the “Gentle Garden of Dreams,” Rain Columns?
Discover the tranquility and harmony of two rain columns where the therapeutic tones mimic the soothing sound of falling rain. This immersive experience is designed to relax and align the mind, body, and spirit. You are invited to attune to these frequencies and forge a deep connection with nature and its profound wisdom. As the creator of this remarkable sound healing tool describes, "They are tools that will open your heart and soul." Enjoy this peaceful part of rejuvenation!

What should I bring? What will be provided at the studio?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before we start to give you and others plenty of time to settle into your cozy nest.
Please bring a yoga mat, pillow/s, comfy blanket/s. Eye pillows are also wonderful to bring if you desire. There are blankets and bolsters available if you need them.
Please be prepared to lay on the floor for one hour, and you’re invited to ask Kristen for assistance in helping you create your perfect cozy space.
Wear your favorite comfy clothes, as this is your time to rest and be at ease. Preferably, no metal or jewelry to encourage the most successful experience.
Hydrate with plenty of water before and after to aid in your healing and recovery. (Similar to a massage).
